We are seeking a skilled Assistant Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles and mobile equipment.
Responsibilities:
-Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, such as oil change, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Stripping and assembling machines or mechanical components according to requirements
- Conducting repairs aiming at maximum reliability
- Assist the mechanic when diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues vehicles.
- Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, and brake systems.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
- Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
-Matric/Grade 12 certificate (Must)
- Valid SA driver's license (Must)
- Proven vehicle service experience (5 years preferable).
